Up for offers is this circa 1880\'sblob top BEERbottle from WINSTON, NORTH CAROLINA. On the front of the bottle, it is embossed in anoval shapedslug-plate: TWIN CITY BOTTLING WORKS P. VALER, WINSTON, N.C.. This was before it was named WINSTON-SALEM. On the back it is embossed: THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD. It has the letter D embossedon the bottom of the bottle. It stands9 & 1/4 inches tall. Amber in color. Has slight orange peel texture in the glass. It has no chips orcracks. Dug with some stain. Would look super with a little tumble. Please view photos.
