These pair of museum art gallery quality 42”chairs have the original tags fully intact and perfectly legible and are numbered.These are from 1800’s-1900 that are all original matching pair of all handmade,crafted, customized,designed,etc.,42” chairs that were designed by the “PAINE FURNITURE COMPANY in BOSTON,MASSACHUSETTS”.These magnificent museum gallery works of art of these classic chairs include expert sculpturing and engravings of every exact detail.Everything is done to absolute perfection,from the structuring,the natural wood,even the hand engravings using the original methods of yesteryear that include three dimensional regal gallery faces ,along with the very complex hand engravings of very unique decorative pieces of the furniture etc..These were made 42”high and are original pairs of antique solid oak chairs.They even have the cane seats that were exclusively individually hand caned.These unique techniques are from the original types of engraving’s,etc.,from the 1800’s.Each pair of these chairs were created individually and designed to exactum and meticulously created and designed with great pride.Every item that was made and created in exact detail was done with the greatest of experts and every item is still in excellent shape ,with no exceptions.These pieces were handmade by the “PAINE FURNITURE COMPANY in BOSTON ,MASSACHUSETTS “.The expert craftsman,cabinet makers,the tool and die workers creative men behind this fabulous company were the power behind the genius of this company.They all worked together as a team to create and design the finest products possible.Their commitment was the force behind their success.There work was so outstanding they were granted the privilege to place labels and numbers on all there items.This was quite an honor and privilege for them to work as a team to see that there business prospered.There ingenuity,creativity expertise,etc., awarded them the privilege to have there own individual original labels.The labels are still very well intact and individually numbered on each label.The labels on both chairs are completely legible and have numbers on both chairs.These have the all original finish.These are absolutely completely untouched ,with the original finish,and all original with no repairs or damage of any kind!The pair,which are a perfect match,are solid antique golden solid hard oak .These pieces were all handmade and all hand carved from the period of 1800-1900? These were all completely handmade and hand woven caned seats that are in excellent condition as well.I truly believe the caned seats are all original.With that being said I have had an expert look at the chairs and he stated there is a slight possibility that the caning could have been replaced by an expert that could have replaced them historically correct.I am just putting this out there to be perfectly honest.It is not uncommon to have to replace caning.The measurements:42” tall,seat 14 1/2”,across the back of the seat,17”1/4” across on the front of the seat,17 1/4” on the side bottom legs measuring from across the legs,from the sides from front to front,17 1/4” between front legs,15 1/2” from seat to top,14 1/4”.Across the front of the headrest top on both chairs is a hand carved Mythological face.You can pick these up in person locally in the 42104 area code of Kentucky for free.I do sell all over the world.The buyer is totally responsible for all of the shipping fees outside of this local area.You can have these shipped my freight,truck,mail,etc..I will be more than happy to work with you regarding the weight,distance,etc..Again these appear to have the original all handmade and hand woven wicker seats in museum condition,but I can not say for sure.The tops appears to be hand engraved regal whimsical wonderfully delightful faces.The hand engraving is exquisite,excellent,and expertly hand done expertly using the original method.These would have been made in the late 1800’s,or very early 1900’s.These have graced my home for to many years to count.Now they need a new home where someone that can appreciate these as I have.They are looking for a home that they will be treasured and appreciated as I have.It is time now for someone else to appreciate and enjoy them them as I have.These have no damage whatsoever.I have on occasion rubbed them down with a cotton cloth to clean them.Condition:all original that commensurate from slight wear and age.I have never sat on these.I have always viewed these as works of art.The aesthetics of these chairs are like masterpieces of fine art.I do not accept returns.Again you can pick them up for free the 42104 zip code ,Kentucky.The pair of chairs are absolutely authentic,original and have had an updated appraisal for insurance and authenticity.Please ask if you have any questions.The appraisers have found the original tags(pictured)that are still very well in tack and fully legible.I will note here that for all the many years that I have owned these chairs the wicker has been outstanding and has never been replaced since I have owned them.Please ask if you have any questions.I have truly described these to the best of my ability.
