This antique duck decoy is in the style of Chris Smith of Chris Craft fame decoys but likely not. Possibly an Unger carving. Chas. or Frederick. It is a unique addition to any collection. With hollow body and glass eyes, this low head blue bill has the perfect combination of colors and features to make it stand out. The decoy is made of wood and was created in the US-Michigan St Clair Flats/Harsens Island region between 1900-1949. It is a genuine, original piece that has been restored to its former glory. The decoy is not signed by the artist.
