This great antique umbrella stand is fresh from an estate in East Aurora, NY, the home of the Roycroft. It is unsigned and has a beautiful Mackintosh keyhole design on the sides. Both the steel drip tray and the piece of wood it sits on are removable, so it could easily be used as a cane holder etc. It measures 11.75\" square and is just under 27\" tall. As you can see, this item is in good shape for its age, with a fair amount of overall surface wear including some scrapes, spots, edge wear, and some uneven staining. There is what looks to be a white paint drip on the interior edge under the insert. May have been refinished at some point. Please see all photos. Shipped with care.
