Victorian Etruscan Revival gold gilt brooch in an ornate interlocking circles design with beaded metal and foliate details, and set with ten small Bohemian rose cut garnets that have a deep wine red glow. There is a tiny ring at the bottom of the brooch to attach a dangle.
The brooch measures approx 15” long and 1" wide. It is in good condition for its age with wear to the gold gilt finish and a secure C clasp. The pin in the clasp hinge is a replacement. Stamped on the back "PS CO" for Plainville Stock Co from Bristol Massachusetts.
