Up for sale is a gunner\'s gimlet from the American Civil War. The thread edges are clean and undamaged. The stamp states: \"WATERVLIET US 6 RF 97\". The \"Water\" part of the Watervliet stamp is not as deep/defined as the rest of the word. The loop is 2 inches across. It\'s 18 inches long. It\'s in excellent condition.
