Excavated Civil War Confederate Braun Artillery Shell Battle Winchester Virginia For Sale

Here is a very nice excavated Civil War Confederate Braun Artillery Shell. This dug 3 inch shell still has the lathe marks on the upper band and the lathe dimple can still be seen on the base. This one was dug by Mr. Wibur back in the 80's and is part of a huge artillery shell collection that I acquired. He keep very good log books of all his finds but this one is hard to make-out so I'm not sure where he dug it. This is a very nice shell and piece of Confederate Artillery history.
