I cut and baled hay with this tractor last summer. I know all of its strong points and it\'s imperfections. In a nutshell, it will make You a good reliable tractor. No unpleasant surprises. 2486 hours. It is ready to work. Comes with a nice 72\" quick attach bucket and a \"junky\" set of forks that came from a bobcat.
I will list all that comes to mind below:
1. uses no oil ( no excessive smoke or blowby )
2. Starts well and runs strong (No ETHER needed)
3. most all lights and blinkers work. ( One rear light doesn\'t burn )
4. No known leaks. ( radiator developed a leak last summer and I had a new one installed )
5. Clutch is strong
6. hydraulics are strong and fast
7. air conditioning blows cold. ( at least it did last summer )
8. Steers well.
9. Entire tractor is tight. steering, interior, etc..
10. PTO works correctly. Turns on and turns off like it is supposed to and pulls strong. Pulled 15\' batwing mower, round balers, and disc mowers.
11. Brakes work well. Parking brake works well also.
12. Cab glass is good.
13. New mirrors and door struts
14. New seat, and cab interior
15. Loader with \"joystick\" control.
16. Loader is not Ford brand. It is a Woods 195.
17. Left rear tire has about a 6\" cut that was repaired in it. It has never given me any problem.
18. Some times, You have toshake the Hi Lo gear shift lever to make the neutral switchmake contact and let the ignition work.
19. Has dual hydraulic remotes. But, one is used by the loader joystick.
20. windshield wiper works well also.
21. battery is the correct 4dlt style. I believe this battery is getting \"tired\". I have had to jump start it several times when the weather was cold and I wasn\'t running it every day.
I have described this machine to the best of my ability. From both personal experience and from my book of specifications. I believe this information is accurate. I also believe it is dependable.But, this machine sells as-is. No warrantees or guarantees express or implied.
