It makes me nervous to sell this because I know very little about it. My late husband kept it on his desk in his office. It was a gift from his father sometime in the 1970\'s I think. His dad was a clock and watch collector.
I am confident in saying that The case appears to be in excellent shape. Hardly a scratch and the green felt bottom is excellent as well. The latches work perfectly and I\'m confident the glass is original.
The brass clock has not been polished but looks very nice. The clock face is very good, but a slight quarter to half inch scratch at 12 and 2.
I have no idea how it works, but I did wind it and it does run. I have no idea when and if it has been cleaned, though I know my husband was very careful with his watches and clocks.
I would like someone to love this piece as much as he did.
I will carefully ship, and insure . but don\'t know how to take it apart. So I will carefully bubble wrap unless the buyer gives me other instructions.
