DESCRIPTION: This sale is for One Used IH Coffee Maker / Peculator. The pot has been in storage in my attic since 1981. I was formerly an International Harvester Farm Equipment Dealer. I closed out my business in December of 1981. This coffee pot had been in use, sitting on our customer counter for about 4-5 years. Last week I put water in the pot, plugged the cord in, and it heated the water, I did not actually try to make coffee.
I have not tried in any way to clean the outside or the inside. The outside has only one or so small scratch marks, the finish will probably clean up and look nice with a little elbow grease. The lid is not dented and the knob on top is tight.

Now the inside is a little rusty and limed a little. The center post will not sit down in the hole in the bottom, that keeps the rod upright to make it easy to sit the basket for the coffee filter / grounds. This hole possibly only needs very little cleaning, to make the rod / tube sit like it should. There should be some rather easy way to clean this rust and crust out of the hole. Our store was in a location where we had rusty water, and I don\'t think any one in our store ever cleaned it out, we just made coffee every day and did not worry about the coffee pot, it kept working and we kept drinking.
My wife passed away last year or I would have someone that could properly clean this. I was in the attic hunting something else I am wanting to sell and run across this. It has been there since 1987 when we moved into this house.
