Diesel Tractor Here to sell in Louisiana is this running John Deere 4630. It does seem to run good with a couple of mentions as noted below and the 4630 tractor is rated at 150 HP. Being sold since the farm has too many tractors and not being used anymore for most of the last two years due to a cut back on acreage.
Dual remotes and full 3-Point. It will need a new set of batteries but we can borrow a set to the tractor to load it out on a trailer. We last started this spring and we did see a some blowby - the farmer there didn\'t think it was much. When running it was spilling out a little diesel as the return lines need new rubber gaskets as they have dried the last few years. We took a picture there of that area on the left side as shown above. Those were the main things we noticed on it. It did have a roof on it until last year. The synchro range transmission is good.
These 4630\'s often sell for $18,000 to $20,000 and being 150 HP this is a very nice buy with a opening offer of only $4,000.
The 4630 is 16\'8\" long, 9\'6\" wide at the axle and 10\' feet high to the top of the cab unless the cab is removed. Weight 16,000 lbs.. The serial # is 4630W 032000R. That would make it a 1975.
