This is aused Lycoming O-540-J3A5D engine that is currently up for sale. S/N of the engine is L-23738-40A

• Engine SMOH: 483.3 Hours (Overhauled by Aircraft Engine Specialists on 03/15/2005)
• Engine Total Time: 2123.9 Hours
• Logbooks from May 1984 to Current
• Last Annual Inspection was 05/02/2017
• Removed from Piper PA-28-236
• Heavy Case / Wide Deck

Compression test results at the time of the last annual inspection were: #1 76/80 #2 74/80 #3 76/80 #4 78/80 #5 78/80 #6 76/80

Engine was involved in a prop strike, causing damage to the oil sump, a damaged valve cover and severed magneto leads. Crankshaft flange was checked with a dye penetrant test and showed no signs of cracking.
