This is a rare item that has been in my collection for 15+ years - The Major Matt Mason Space Station Beacon!
The chrome is in very good shape with some signs of use. The checkered decal is fading, but not in terrible shape considering it is 58 years old.
There are no signs of battery leakage and the battery compartment and terminals are intact and very clean.
The blinker bulb is probably original as it is very dim, but works (see video).
