We are thrilled to announce the release of our limited edition collection of Madam Magpie Doll Kits featuring genuine resin molds designed and poured
by the legendary Marcia Backstrom, who sadly passed in 2012. In 2022, we purchased Marcia Backstrom's studio from her mother with the intent of bringing all of these sculpts to life and picking up where Marcia left off. To date we have been creating incredible dolls that have been selling to collectors around the world.
These meticulously crafted kits, combine using molds individually poured by
Marcia herself and her father, with the techniques of Magpie Miniatures and Dana Burton who has been making breathtakingly realistic dolls for over 30 years,
including those using these very sculpts for Madam Magpie Dolls! We offer a unique opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind character doll.
We are sharing all of our doll expertise to help you create the Perfect character doll, it is up to you to dress and wig her. We do send you links for people who make fabulous doll dress patterns and wigging tutorials, even online class links.

What is included in this kit: Resin Doll Sculpt Torso, Arms with hands, poured porcelain legs, roving wool, doll stand, wire, all the paints you need, a paint palette, primer, finisher, paint brushes, tapes, file, air dry clay and a syringe of our favorite glue to finish you garment. We will be listing our amazing hair, fabrics and trims this weekend.
