This is an original battery hold down cover for a Ford NAA. It is the same as used on the Model 500, 501, 600, 601, 700, 701, 800, 801, 900, and 901. It is the cover for the round battery cables. It is fresh from an old farm shop and is in pretty good condition for its age. It has some minor deterioration as I've pointed out in the pictures. The door needs a bit of adjustment to stay closed but it seems to be in great shape and hinges as it should. These original battery covers are almost always missing and are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for an authentic restoration here's your chance!
