Old ROCKY MOUNTAIN SELTZER bottle ANACONDA MONTANA BREWING Co Original Complete For Sale

A LARGE TALL ( just about 12\" tall ) clear-glass PYRO (pyro glaze) or ACL (applied ceramic label) cylinder-shaped Rocky Mountain Seltzer Anaconda Brewing Co. Seltzer or Siphon bottle. Bottle is complete with WORKING STOPPER and GLASS STRAW.

• Bottle reads: \"ROCKY MOUNTAIN / SELTZER / ANACONDA BREWING CO. / ANACONDA / MONTANA\".

• Age: A vintage ABM bottle, ca. early-mid 1900\'s.

• Condition: The glass bottle itself is in overall very good condition. Though it has some light case wear with results scratching/scuffs around shoulder and base, the very bottom of the bottle is the only thing that really shows much wear. Other than that it is in excellent condition, NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. Chrome or pewter (lever-action-pressure-release-valve) top is in excellent condition too. It is incised (SERVICE BOTT. WKS. 55) and when the trigger is applied, it appears to work just fine.

These bottles were virtually unheard of until about 20 years ago when a warehouse load of western seltzer bottles were discovered in California, and previous unheard of western examples hit the market, including these. We obtained the majority of these Rocky Mtn bottles from the owner and over the years we traded and sold them off. They have all been absorbed into collections but now and then one gets sneaked back onto the market, which is the case with this one. This is one of the nicer examples, all the way down to the correct working and complete seltzer cap, including glass stopper. As is the case with many of these old seltzers, collectors and dealers don\'t understand how to correctly disassemble the pressure release stoppers to clean the bottles. We were able to do just this, so this bottle is cleaned inside and out, and the working top has been taken apart, cleaned, and reassembled. As a result, the pressure release stopper and vacuum system work just fine, and the bottle itself is in pristine nearly mint condition, check it out!
