Oliver OC Narrow gauge crawler. I\'d say it\'s a 1953 or 54. Starts and runs excellent. You can almost whistle for it! No smoke or leaks on engine. Brakes are good, and hoses are new. The track centers are 32\", with 10\" pads. The overall track it 42\" to the outside. The blade is homemade out of 3/8\" boiler plate. Blade is 55\" wide x 24\" tall and can be angled manually. It is also detachable on a rail, so you could mount other things in place of thebladeif you fashion a mating half.
This machine was sold to the Town of Newton, MA as a sidewalk plow. The hour meter shows 1496 hours and I\'d guess that was close since these were miserable to drive on sidewalks. There were other owners in between. I am not the second owner., but I\'ve owned it for over30 years, and in that time, put about 200 hours on it. The meter does work. It\'s been stored under cover while I\'ve owned it. It\'s a good machine for light use or an easy restoration.
It\'s painted Safety Yellow, (ugh)but could be re-sprayed to original without too much trouble. It has a 6 forward speedtransmission with a hi-low reverse. The governor picks up like new. The shifter is a bit testy, though, and I have set of used shifter rails to put with it. If you are going to work it hard, it could stand a couple track rollers. I do not have any side-curtains for it.
This is fabulous machine for skidding logs, as it snakes easily between trees, unlike it\'s wider counterparts where you get stuck up against things in the woods.
I\'d guess this weighs about 7000 pounds, and have towed it several times with a 1/2 HD pickup.
This machine has been converted to 12Volts with a GM alternator. I will give you a 6 volt generator (condition unknown) if you want it. I DO NOT have 6 volt coil to put with it.
Comes with an operators manual, but it\'s for a diesel engine.
