Hi , up for sale is one(BLUE)SLIMPACK IIemergency reserve parachute made by PA ( PARACHUTES AUSTRALIA )ingoodcondition .It was owned by agerman glider pilot who always took very good care of it and had it inspected and repackedevery year while in service. The logbook whichhas all theinspections / repacksentered and signed off by the rigger isincluded and will be send along with the chute .These parachutes are used by all kinds of pilots , such as aerobatic , glider , ultralight , balloon , experimental pilots and others . The PASLIMPACKis a great parachute for pilots with no skydiving experience since it works with a spring loaded parachute . The way it works is thatwhen in an emergency you pull the ripcord , the back of the container opens and a spring loaded pilot chute pops out . This pilot chute then immediatly fills with air and pulls out the main canopy . This is a great system for pilots with no skydiving experience since the spring loaded pilot chute shoots away fromyour body no matter in what position your falling ( tumbling ) . Therefore there is much less of a chance that the pilot will become tangled in the lines .It is also a very fast system , needing only 100 meters of hight to fully inflate . The canopyis in exellentconditionand the container is in good used condition .
