Up for sale is a Victorian tea caddy or waste pot in one of the Assyrian or Assyrian Head patterns. The body of caddy is decorated with a dense scrolling ornament, pinwheels and flanked by a full-faced female head with a necklace and tall flared headdress or Assyrian Head accompanied by the face of a demon. The silver late is lovely as shown with no dents or repairs. We are sure that it was replaced at on time. The manufacturer, Mermod Jaquard manufactured silver plate hollowware during the mid to late 1800's but we are unsure when he manufactured this pattern and the exact name so please make sure this matches your set before purchasing. It stands bout 3.5 inches tall and 5 inches wide measuring across the largest point of the body. There is a monogram as shown in the 11th picture.
