Some other sellers also claim that their magnets are the same strength as mine but they are not. These are my weakest magnets on any of my magnetic mirrors and they are almost 3 times the strength of the other sellers.See my other listings I have 220lb and rubber coated 114lb rated per mirror. The vinyl coated magnets come with 1.5” clear vinyl coatings that are not attached so those not wanting the coatings can simply leave it off.

The neodymium is coated with 3 different coatings nickel, brass, and chrome to protect the neodymium core and key to the amazing stregth of the magnets. The neodymium is 10 times harder than ferrite in ferrite magnets.

Thick Or Thin Steel If you attach to thick steel or sheet metal determines the magnets strength as well as size of the magnet so if you need to attach to sheet metal you need the strongest magnets you can get.

MAGNETS ARE AT FULL STRENGTH WHEN ATTACHED TO 1/2” THICK STEEL. ANYTHING THINNER AND THE BOND STRENGTH IS LESS THAN DIRECT PULL STRENGTH OF THE MAGNETS.
