Offered here is a lot of six comics, all with covers and stories by the renowned fantasy artist Charles Vess. They are:
- THE BOOK OF NIGHT - #s 1-3, published by Dark Horse in 1987, interior art entirely in black and white.
- THE BOOK OF BALLADS AND SAGAS - #s 1-3 (of 4), published by Green Man Press in 1995, again all interior art in black and white.
The Dark Horse series I would grade as NM, while the Green Man issues are NM-M. Clearly these were a labor of love for artist Vess, as you can see for yourself in the photos provided.
