This wonderfulvintage Masonic widow\'s slipper pin was made as memento for widows of Freemasons to wear in acknowledgment of the Freemasons\' commitment to look after each other\'s widows and children.The pin features the G Freemason symbol rendered in goldon a deep blue enamel background over the toe portion of the slipper. The protective eye symbol is on the part of the slipper where the heel rests. Approx. measurements area bit over 1/2 inch in length and weighing .6 grams.Good antique condition with some minor age appropriate wear to blue enamel. Very minor and greatly magnified in the photo.The reverse side of the pin is clearly marked 14K to show its gold content.
