Fast shipping, well packaged. This item unfortunately did not fit my gas can. My step son has about a dozen different cans so I am going to check his to see if we can use it. I am sure I will. The spout flange that the rubber gasket goes on is a little to large. It does look like it will work if I trim some of the dia off. Thank you

The larger black cap that threads onto the gas can (2.5 gallon Sears Craftsman) would not fit correctly. The threads inside the cap did not match the threads on the can. Almost-but not the way it is suppose to fit. Luckily I had a spare cap that fit the spout and can perfectly. I am writing this to warn buyers this item might not fit your Sears Craftsman gas can.

Nice item, but the black locking nut is super hard to screw all the way down…Had to put on mechanic gloves to tighten the spout to my 6 gallon Chilton per EPA gas can…
