MINTAGE NOTE: The 1947 Philadelphia Mint produced approximately 190.6 million cents, Denver produced approximately 194.8 million, while the San Francisco Mint produced just 99 million. The 1947-S therefore had the lowest mintage of the three, making it an especially interesting piece of this P-D-S trio.
