Gray, Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Stone Textured Spray Paint-7992830, 12 oz is designed to provide a durable protective coating with excellent resistance to rust, and excellent resistance to abrasion, fading, chipping, and dulling. These sprays apply easily, provide excellent coverage and dry fast to a tough attractive finish. These sprays feature a comfort tip with a wider finger pad to reduce fatigue caused by continuous spraying. Not for use on galvanized and corrosion resistant coating protects exterior/interior surfaces such as wood, metal, concrete and masonry

Instructions

. Unique textured finish • use on wood, metal, ceramics, glass & more. Panting Conditions: Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area such as an open garage. Use when temperature is between 50°F (10°C) and 90°F (32°C) and humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying. Do not apply to surfaces that, when heated, exceed 200°F 93°C) or galvanized metal. Avoid spraying in very windy, dusty conditions. Cover surrounding area to protect from spray mist. Preparation: Remove loose paint and rust with wire brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand glossy surfaces. Clean with soap and water, rinse and let dry. Priming: Use of American Accents® primer provides superior adhesion and hiding and is especially recommended for porous surfaces and bare wood & metal. For best hiding results, apply a base coat of a color that blends well with the stone finish. Painting: Shake can vigorously for one minute. Shake often during use. Hold can upright 10-16\'\' from surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. The stone finish will vary depending on how far away you spray. Do not try to achieve total coverage in one coat. Apply one light coat first. Wait 15 minutes until paint starts to set, then apply a second coat. If additional coats are needed, wait 15 minutes between coats. Dry Times: Based on 70°F - 50% relative humidity. Allow more time at cooler temperatures. Dries to the touch in 3-4 hours, to handle in 5-6 hours. For objects exposed to moisture, apply American Accents® Matte Clear top coat for optimal durability. Allow the final coat to dry for 4 hours before applying a clear top coat. Clean-Up: When finished spraying, clear spray valve by turning can upside down and pushing spray button for 5 seconds. Clean up wet paint with soap & water and dried paint with Xylol or mineral spirits. Throw away empty can in trash pickup. Do not burn or place in home trash compactor. Clogging: If valve clogs, twist and pull off spray tip and rinse it in warm water. For dried paint, rinse in a solvent such a Xylol or mineral spirits. Do not stick pin or other object into the stem.
