(80) Rolls (4000 coins) of Pre 1982 Copper Pennies Inc. Some Wheat Pennies.
You are offerding on a lot of 80 rolls (4000 coins) of pre-1982 copper Lincoln memorial and wheat pennies (some were seen in the entire lot of 87 rolls I originally had, this your rolls may have some but also may not, as I have since sold 7 rolls).
This lot contains over 26 pounds of pure copper.
The Guarantee: 100% pre-1982 pennies to the best of my ability.
These coins have been painstakingly hand-sorted to ensure absolutely NO zinc pennies are included. I have completely excluded the transitional year of 1982 to guarantee every coin in these rolls is 95% copper (3.11g each).
The Sorting Process:
Every roll was hand-sorted. Fully slick or illegible dates have been completely removed. Any coin with a partial or faint date was visually cross-referenced using a strict decade-digit visual scanning algorithm to guarantee it falls within the pre-1982 era:
Reverse Check: Wheat stalks (1909-1958) are automatic includes. Memorial backs move to step 2.
Decade Digit (3rd number): 5, 1, 6, or 7 (1959 to the 1970s) are automatic includes. Loops (8 or 9) move to step 3.
Year Digit (4th number): For 198X coins, 0 or 1 are included. ALL 1982s (curled tail \'2\') are strictly excluded.
Condition: Circulated. Unsearched for specific numismatic varieties or minor errors, but obvious culls or severely damaged coins were removed during the copper sorting process.
Bonus: As a thank you, each order will include a small bag of additional loose pre-1982 copper pennies that did not make up a full 50-coin roll! Hopefully in the off chance I included a post 1981 penny this would more than make up for the margin of error.
Also, a note on die error coins, I did set some of the obvious ones aside but it is possible I missed a few, so they may end up in some of your rolls.
