This is a breathtaking, rare, highly sought-after and beautiful marble from the 1920s, known as the \"Golden Onyx Oxblood\". Made by Akro Agate in the United States, this machine-made marble has a luxurious shine and a wet, dead mint appearance. With its timeless style and origins from the early 20th century, this marble is a valuable collectible piece for enthusiasts of antique marbles. This marble was identified as a \"Golden Onyx Oxblood\" from marble websites. It was also mentioned that on rare occasions that they were included in very rare high-end early Popeye Boxes sometimes. It was found at an antique toys and clothes store on Poshmark. There were two and some other very old marbles. I\'ve never seen any other so they probably traveled together. There is no cadmium UV glow on this one. The other one does. The absolute rarest... these two.
\"Rarity and Uniqueness of Oxbloods found in original Popeye boxes are considered significantly rarer than the standard multi-color Popeye corkscrews and other massed produced oxblood boxes... Because the yellow Popeye boxes had much shorter production runs compared to the red boxes, finding a complete, original 1920s yellow Popeye box populated with its native oxbloods is a pinnacle achievement for marble collectors.\" Two of a kind!
