Ho Scale Slot Car Dyno. Viper Aurora Tyco AFX 4 Gear Cars For Sale

I have been working on this dyno for the last four months trying to get it right.  It has metal contacts so magnet cars hold tight to the roller and represents actual track conditions. The roller was cleaned up on the lathe to make sure it was flat and straight. It has RC car bearings and axle that the roller rides on. It  has steel gears that spin a generator that sends the power output to the lower LEDs to show how good your car is preforming and help with the tuning. The metal gears make a little noise at high RPM but not bad. The controller shows volts from the transformer, amps the car is pulling and the percent of power being used. The top LED shows the actual voltage going to the car.

This works best with the magnet cars like viper, tyco AFX but does work good for older  aurora  cars that are strong runners and have good tires. Old tireswill just spin and do nothing. This will not work with the tyco pro cars and i have a maga g+ car that doesn\'t work for some reason so it may not work with all cars.

If you want to actually figure the HP you multiple the volts x amps ÷ 746 witch is not worth the time its so small but fun anyway. Its in the tens of thousands of a horse power. This dyno box is made by me a 68 year old guy that like to tinker around and build things. If you get the box and are having a problem let me know and i will take care of it.
