Description:
These great doors were salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian.
They are made of pine and are painted on both sides.
Each has a panel of clear flat glass at the top with 2 raised wood panels below.
The fronts are very ornate, the glass panels are framed in scalloped and reel and bead moldings.
The upper wood panels have 3 pyramids.
Lower panels have fluting on the faces and are framed in reel and bead molding.
The glass and wood panels all have Eastlake beveled edges.
The doorknobs and hinges will need to be replaced, other ornate brass hardware present.
They measure 44 inches wide together, 79.5 tall, and 1.75 inches thick.
Overall they are in good condition. There are misc. scratches, chips and dings as they are antique. They were trimmed and are out of square, shortest height given. The door with the knob has rounded outside edges. Both were rehinged. Please look at the pictures carefully.

We have a 16 foot box truck for salvage jobs and delivery trips. We generally make delivery trips along the I-85 and I-95 corridors to central Florida and the Florida panhandle in January.
In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed.
We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship. Outside these areas it would be best to check uship.com for delivery quotes.

I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch.

My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
