BRAND NEW from US army warehouse sitting since the 60’s!
I bought this at an army surplus store that was closing down in 2018, the owner said he bought it from the US Army and this had been sitting in a warehouse all this time and had never been in operation. I have never used it, and I don’t believe he had either because he had it as a vintage display, however, he may have fired it up since there is soot under the lid.
I asked about the box it came in but he said it was in a wooden crate and when he opened it the wood was so old it just splintered & he didn’t keep it.
No known defects, it’s beautiful.
No rust, no chips, and thank God none of my children messed it up!
I feel very fortunate and grateful that I listened to my instincts and bought it, because neither me or the owner knew how rare it was.
