I am the second owner of this magnificent super cool survivor.
This bike was sent to the wrench doctor who went through every aspect of the bike to make sure this was a great riding machine.
A new WTB (NOS) saddle replaced the worn saddle and a brand new set of Maxxis Holy Rollers were installed keeping the overall retro vibe. PLUS I installed a couple of frame savers to further protect this vintage beauty
Deore XT all around with those incredible thumb shifters that makes me wonder why the Rapid ever existed.
For a MTB bike to be in this kind of condition after 33 years it is a true survivor
My brain says 18 but my body laughs. Back issues are nagging, forcing my days of riding to an end.😩
