Flash Reference:Installation
- The wiring color reference are as follows:
- Black wire: (Negative Ground）
- Red wire: Running light
- Green wire: Brake light
- If the light does not illuminate after connecting the wires ,please ensure that the wiring and connectors are securely connected. Try disconnecting and reconnecting them, If the light still does not work, We recommend testing it by connecting it directly to a 12V battery using the above wire colors.
- For the running and brake light functions, It is usually a plug and play process. If our light comes with a 1157 bulb socket, It can be used as a replacement for the existing bulb. Alternately, if the socket does not fit your bike, you can replace it with your bike’s factory connector.
2. Turn Signals Activation: Connect the yellow wire(or yellow & black wire) of the tail light to the positive wires of your bike's turn signals. This will activate the built-in turn signals of the tail light. if additional black wires are available, they should always be connected to the ground wire.
3. (Optional) Dealing with Error Codes or Alert: If your stock lamp is an incandescent bulb and you are switching to an LED taillight, you may encounter error codes or alerts, such as blinkers flashing rapidly or amber lights remaining still, this is usually caused by the low current of LED light. To resolve this, we need to increase the current by add the provided resistors into the circuit in parallel connection with the taillight, following the provided diagram. Alternatively, you can replace the stock relay with an LED relay.
