The filter is effective for concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or 50 times PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepieces when welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring and soldering. This filter helps protect against a wide range of oil and non-oil based particulate contaminants. Inventory needs and training requirements of safety equipment are reduced because this filter works for many different applications. This cartridge is designed to protect in higher-heat applications. An innovative solid-top air-inlet reduces premature loading by allowing a channeled airflow. Simply press or squeeze the filter covers to restrict airflow and inhale gently to check for proper seal of the respirator.
These P100 particulate filters are both flame and water resistant. They are easy to install.Plus, 3M™ Particulate Filters 7093 Series are compatible with 3M™ Half Facepieces 6000, 6500/6500QL, 7500 Series, Full Facepieces 6000, FF-400, 7800 Series, and 3M™ Scott™ AV-3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal Facepieces with AV-632 Bayonet Adapter, thus helping to reduce inventory needs.
