Get Mytee Products’ 7-1/4" x 8" DIY Aluminum Ramp Kit Plates to command loading and unloading vehicles and other essentials. The plates are a budget-friendly way to complete your ramps for the smooth loading of ATVs, motorcycles, lawns, mowers, etc., into your trailers. We know it’s difficult to carry bulky ramps, but not anymore. These lightweight ramp plates will enable you to convert a board into a ramp quickly and easily. You can position the pairs onto the back of trucks, trailers, vans, etc. Learn more about the product below:-
- Efficient Design & Dimension: It’s a very convenient and simple-to-use plate with a length of 7-1/4" and a width of 8". It’s designed in Z-shape for secure attachment to the ends of the trailer ramps. The internal height is 1–3/16", which will seamlessly fit into the trailers. Moreover, it has a textured surface for improved traction of vehicles and equipment during loading and unloading. Thus making it a skid-resistant plate.
- Aluminum Construction: We have engineered these ramp brackets from 3/16" Aluminum, keeping them lightweight, corrosion—and rust-resistant. The silver color plates will seamlessly integrate with 8" width lumber board/planks & panels AND 1-5/16" thick, giving an uninterrupted path to load or unload your vehicles. Your board will fit in perfectly on the ramp. Thus, your board will be converted into a temporary ramp, enabling you to create your own ramp.
- Lightweight & Portable: Our DIY aluminum plates are lightweight compared to metals like steel. However, it can hold a capacity of up to 750 lbs. This ramp kit is easy to handle and portable compared to large heavy-duty ramps. These aluminum ramp plates will also provide a smooth transition for vehicles.
Hassle-Free Installation: It’s a straightforward installation process with pre-drilled holes. The z-shaped plate has holes, two each on top (smaller in size)and bottom ramp (diameter is bigger). Check the process of the DIY ramp below:-
- Place 1-5/16" thick lumber board/planks & panels on the bottom part of the ramp. Mark the holes and drill holes as per the marking. Push the approx 2" bolt inside the board, which will come out from the bottom of the plate, enabling you to secure it with the 5 mm flange nuts.
- The next step is to position the top part with texture on the trailer and drill with the 1-5/8" longs.
- Voila, your DIY ramp is ready for use. Do check all the nuts & screws before using.
Note: Measure the hardware and utilize it as per the requirements.
