1 cup ofMacro Algae Chaetomorpha Chaeto for Marine Aquarium Refugium
Banishunsightly algae to the refugium with FlaminHotChaeto. Chaetomorpha or Chaeto isa macroalgae that effectively consumes phosphates and nitrates in the marineaquarium. Having this in a lightedrefugium will help keep unsightly algae out of the display. The specimen in thepicture is what you will receive. 1 measured cup of Chaeto.
The Chaetowill ship in a sealed bagcompacted and flattened in a bubble envelopewith a little amount of water to keep it moist. Once the Chaeto is acclimated to your tank it will puff up, and in theright water parameters and light will grow quickly.
Chaeto isvery hardy but the quicker it gets into your tank the better. Please note thatChaeto will often lose some size and volume during shipping. Chaeto is very hardy and does well in themail, but you may experience shrinkage up to ½ of what was measured wheninitially shipped. In a refugium withthe good parameters and light for Chaeto, this Chaeto will fluff up and growrapidly. I use the measuring cup aspictured, fill it up to the cup line of your order, lightly compact it down,top it off back to the cup line of your order, and then ship.
