Some offsets are already substantial young rhizomes, while others are smaller developing growth points. Multiple offsets can naturally grow from the same mother rhizome and may remain connected when shipped.⚠️ IMPORTANT — PLEASE READThis is a random mixed bulk assortment. Rather than individually identifying, separating, and selling every rhizome, we're offering this mixed planting stock in large bulk boxes.This gives you a substantial amount of iris planting material at a much lower cost per growth point than purchasing individually labeled cultivars.🌞 PLANTINGTall bearded irises prefer plenty of sun and well-draining soil. Plant rhizomes shallowly, with the top of the rhizome at or near the soil surface and the roots extending into the soil.Healthy connected clusters do not need to be separated before planting. They can be planted together and allowed to establish naturally. As the irises grow and multiply, crowded clumps can be dug, divided, and replanted in future years.Water thoroughly after planting to settle the soil around the roots, while avoiding constantly soggy conditions.Smaller offsets may need additional time to mature before flowering.
