Red wiggler worms are the world’s most common composting worms. These worms have yellow banding and are often referred to as tiger worms, brandling worms, or manure worms.

Worms will be shipped in dried peat moss which will help ensure that they arrive alive in the summer heat or the winter cold. They WILL look smaller due to transport. Worms lose moisture in shipping and therefore size.
It will be 3-4 days since they had food or water and they arrive a little sluggish and slightly dehydrated. This is normal.
Add moisture/water and a little food and they will plump up in a few hours
You can put the worms and the peat moss directly into your bin/ worm setup and mist them with a spray bottle. The cardboard box and cardboard packing materials can be shredded, moistened, and added to your worm bin.
Important shipping info!
Worms are alive! Meaning that you need to be available to receive them from the shipping carrier. Worms left in the hot sun, on a porch or in a mailbox will die.
We GUARANTEE live worm delivery if:
you receive them directly from the shipping carrier at your residence
you notify us within 3 hours of receipt with a photo/video of the worms
NO GUARANTEE IF LEFT IN MAIL BOX
We can not guarantee live arrivals if worms are left in a sweltering hot mailbox or ice-cold mailbox for 5 hours.
If it shows they are delivered and left in mail box or on porch ect. There will be NO GUARANTEE. On a rare occasions if your Worms arrive dead and you meet all the above qualifications we must be notified with pictures within 3 hours.
We believe in a "make it right" policy if something extraordinary happens in shipping or weather events. This DOES NOT include messaging us 2 days + after delivery saying there is a problem. Photo proof is required same day with any message and then we are willing to work with you.
