A genuine late 19th-century albumen cabinet card photograph of the Brooklyn Bridge, New York City, credited to Newsboy of New York. The card measures approximately 4.25 x 6.5 inches, consistent with cabinet card format used for scenic and souvenir photography in the 1880s–1890s.

This view is particularly interesting for its perspective along the bridge’s rail railroad tracks and pedestrian walkway, showing early train cars, workers, and pedestrians in motion. The image provides a rare glimpse of the bridge in active use during its early years following its 1883 completion, capturing both transportation and daily life on one of America’s most iconic structures.

The mount features a decorative red border with vertical “Newsboy / New York” imprint. The lower image area includes a caption reading “48. Brooklyn Bridge, N.Y.”, identifying the scene.

Condition shows typical age-related wear including toning, spotting, and surface wear, as visible in the images. The reverse is blank.

A desirable and slightly more dynamic Brooklyn Bridge view, appealing to collectors of NYC history, railroad imagery, and 19th-century albumen photography, especially with the identifiable Newsboy imprint.

Authentic period piece related to family, historyor local heritage - well-suited for historical collections, genealogical /genealogy research, or museum acquisition.Vintage or Antique.
