Beautiful antique Waldorf Silver Co. quadruple plate silverplate pitcher dating to the late 1890s/early 1900s. This substantial decorative piece stands approximately 12.5" tall and features an ornate Victorian-style handle and spout, engraved floral decoration, domed hinged lid and decorative finial.
A wonderful statement piece for Victorian, farmhouse, cottage, romantic or antique-inspired decor. Display it with the lid open or closed, or remove the lid and use the pitcher as a decorative vessel for dried or artificial floral arrangements. The aged silver-gray patina gives it wonderful old-world character.
Condition shows age and use with tarnish/oxidation, silverplate wear, scratches and surface wear. The original lid hinge pin is missing and a small wire currently holds the lid in place; this could be professionally repaired if desired. The decorative finial appears to have an older repair. No polishing has been done.
Measures approximately 12.5" tall and weighs 2 lbs. 6 oz. unboxed.
