Up your consideration is a pair of ANTIQUE MOTHER OF PEARL BRASS PUTNAM & WALLEN PARIS Binoculars Opera W Case... Very cool.. Rare.. The leather case included is either not correct. Or it has shrank over the past 100 years. It has a handwritten date of February 19. 1891... Some of the threading at the seam has come undone. Still displays really nicely with the binoculars, and I believe they are original because they came together... The mother of pearl is pretty solid and not separating like i\'ve seen in other older mother pearl inlaid objects from this time period... This would be a perfect addition to your collection.
