18th- 19th century German Stiegel Anglo Irish blown pontiled glass candlesticks:
$395.00
An incredible pair of possibly late 18th century and certainly very early 19th century blown and pressed glass German Stiegel type candlesticks! Is there obviously not both Anglo, Irish and German, but the combination of cut glass bases and blown pressed glass stems is more indicative of Anglo Irish early 19th century glass than of the German half post method. Nonetheless, Iām confident that these 9.25 inch tall candlesticks are of a German origin. The cut solid glass bases Are distinctly German in origin. The blown glass stems is more indicative of Pittsburgh or early New England, but I am fairly certain that these are either German or possibly Ohio and probably made circa 1820 but possibly as early as the 1790s. The pear is in excellent overall condition with just the slightest bit of lip, roughness and a couple of small base edge chips, which is really remarkable after more than 200 years.buyer to pay $19.95 insured shipping within the US or 3 pounds priority international.
