🎄 1910 John Wanamaker’s Philadelphia “Merry Christmas” Holiday Token 🎄
Santa Claus • Good Health & Good Luck • Happy New Year • Beautiful AU Condition
A really special piece of Philadelphia history and early 20th-century Christmas memorabilia! This beautiful 1910 John Wanamaker’s holiday token features a wonderful depiction of Santa Claus on the obverse with “MERRY CHRISTMAS” prominently displayed around the design.
The reverse features the warm holiday message “GOOD HEALTH AND GOOD LUCK FROM JOHN WANAMAKER’S”, with “HAPPY NEW YEAR 1910” beautifully presented within a wreath.
This is a fantastic example of early Philadelphia advertising and holiday exonumia, representing the famous John Wanamaker’s department store, one of the most important and iconic retailers in Philadelphia history.
Token Highlights:
• Date: 1910

• Type: Christmas / New Year’s advertising or souvenir token
• Obverse: Santa Claus with “MERRY CHRISTMAS”
• Reverse: “GOOD HEALTH AND GOOD LUCK FROM JOHN WANAMAKER’S” and “HAPPY NEW YEAR 1910”
