This is a generator REBUILTby me. I have over 50 years experience rebuilding alternators, generators andstarters. It has been completely disassembled, cleaned and tested. The armaturehas been turned and under cut and checked on the growler for shorts. It has newsealed bearings (does not need oiling), newbrushes, reassembled and tested on my test bench. It tests at 25 ampsand 7volts.
This generator still has its original label with part number GOS 4808.
NOTE:
At some time in the history of this unit the end plates have beenmodified so you may have to ad washers or shims to the bottom mounting bolts toprevent the cast iron ears from breaking if not shimmed properly.
