This is a 1945 Rolex Oyster Royal Precision manual wind watch. It has a semi-California dial with a rich brown “tropical” patina. Serial number 334176. The crown will unscrew and screw back down but it does not wind or allow for time setting. It does not move forward at all in either of those positions.
I do not know when it was last serviced or if it’s ever been serviced. It’s being sold as parts or repair though it is a highly desirable watch given its age and unique aesthetic appeal.
The band on it is a vintage stainless steel Speidel.

There is a loose flake of paint from the minute hand trapped under the crystal. Please see all the photos for more details. Please use precaution to not ingest any flakes of paint if you happen to open the case and expose the dial. The paint is radium based and should be handled carefully. It’s best to leave any repairs to a local Rolex specialist.
