Humorous Description
Before Hollywood had social media scandals, John Barrymore was proving that legendary actors could provide plenty of drama onstage and off.
This 1944 biography comes complete with photographs, theatrical history, character sketches and enough vintage wear to prove that it has survived considerably longer than most Hollywood marriages.
The cover isn’t pretending to be young anymore—and frankly, neither should a book from 1944.
