1960s 1970s Vintage Dress + Jacket Suit Set D\'Amselle Mr Max Beige Blue Tweed 12 For Sale

A 1960s - early 1970s vintage dress and blazer set by D\'amselle by Mr Max. The wide collar blazer is made from beige tweed with blue trim, no fiber content tag but either wool or wool blend. It\'s fully lined and closes with marbled beige Lucite buttons. The shirt part of the dress appears to be wool crepe and the skirt is the same fabric as the blazer. It has a back zipper and the skirt is fully lined. ILGWU union made in USA. Sold at Hollywood of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, which was an upscale boutique. This is a very high quality suit, beautifully tailored, and in excellent condition.

Excellent condition, no stains, holes, or pilling. No fading, the color is even and bright. A very crisp, clean set that appears to be unworn.

The size on the tag is 12 and it mostly measures like a modern size 12, the waist of the dress is about 1/2\" smaller than a modern 12. To ensure a perfect fit, it\'s best to measure yourself or a garment you already own and compare to the measurements below:
