This one is from Monday May 26, 1969 for the front page of The Waco News-Tribune which is still in print today as the Waco Herald.
It features a headline about the impending splashdown of the Apollo 10 capsule along with sub headlines about the Vietnam war and a conflict in the Middle East.
Overall it’s in very well preserved condition having been in a garage for over 57 years only now coming out due to the passing of the owner who worked for many years at the tribune.
It could use a good cleaning and it does have very, very minor nicks and scratches from storage but every article is readable with a mirror.
It weighs 41lbs, is 16 1/4” tall and has a 7” diameter
