1969 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic For Sale

Solid, turnkey 1969 Volkswagen Beetle featuring a custom folding convertible top conversion. It has been under long-term single-family ownership for over two decades. The car runs great, starts on the key. Clean title in hand.

MECHANICAL & RUNNING CONDITION

• Engine: 1,500cc air-cooled 4-cylinder. Starts effortlessly and runs strong.

• Battery: Brand new battery installed.

• Tires: Brand new tires on all four wheels.

• Brakes: Fully operational, though the pedal feels slightly soft (typical vintage unboosted system feel; may benefit from a standard fluid bleed/adjustment).

BODY & EXTERIOR

• Paint: Glossy overall appearance with minor, light road nicks typical of driver condition.

• Vent Window: Driver’s side vent window needs replacement (scratched, not sealed in). Temporary seals were placed around it but not installed.

• Bumper: Small dent in front bumper.

• Minor cosmetic replacements needed on back interior doors. (see photos)

INTERIOR & ELECTRICAL

• Seating: Original black vinyl seats in solid condition; driver’s seat back has one small tear suitable for a simple vinyl patch.

• Dashboard: Left air control knob features a custom replacement cap to maintain a complete dash appearance. Air knobs need a look at; wiring may be disconnected.

• Lighting: Tail lights and parking lights function, but bulb contact inside the housings is loose—a simple socket adjustment/cleaning is recommended.

• Audio: Aftermarket CD/stereo head unit and speaker installed by a previous relative.

• Horn: Horn does not work.

INCLUDED EXTRAS & SPARE PARTS

• Driver\'s side exterior mirror and mounting hardware (uninstalled).

• Original chrome trim corner pieces for the driver\'s side vent window.

• Radio antenna (sealed in original package).

• Emergency roadside bag containing tire iron and compact jump-starter set.

• Vehicle Condition: Sold strictly AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no implied warranties. Inspections welcomed prior to sale end.

• Deposit: $500 non-refundable deposit due via Checkout within 24 hours of sale.

• Final Payment: Remaining balance due within 7 days via Bank Wire Transfer or Cash/Verified Cashier’s Check in-person at my bank branch.

• Vehicle Release: Title signature will be notarized and vehicle keys handed over only after final funds fully clear. Buyer is responsible for all pickup/transport logistics.
