Condition Notes:
Please note - 45's have NOT been play-tested, though I have no reason to believe it won't play. Generally, these will be in G+ to VG condition and will show some level of surface marks, some better. I get 45's into the shop all the time; and I usually sort-out about 1/3 as being too worn to sell....leaving the other 2/3 as being "OK" to sell. Hopefully that gives you a sense of my cut-off point. Also, a lot of 45's will have writing, stickers and/or drill holes on the labels (see pictures). All 45’s have been cleaned, though you could do a deep cleaning if you want.
General Grading Guidelines (Goldmine):
- Near Mint (NM or M-): A nearly perfect record. Shiny with no visible defects, likely played rarely or never.
- Very Good Plus (VG+ or E): Shows slight signs of wear, such as light scuffs or inaudible marks. Audio is good with slight background noise.
- Very Good (VG): Surface noise is evident, especially in soft passages, but does not overpower the music. Noticeable wear, light scratches.
- Good (G) or Good Plus (G+): Should play through without skipping, but it will have significant surface, scratches, crackling and visible wear
