Offered for sale is an original 1971 Honda Z50A K2 Mini Trail 50. The factory identification plate is still present and shows a manufacture date of 7/71 with frame/VIN number Z50A-366450.

This is an unrestored vintage Honda that has been preserved in its original used condition. No restoration has been attempted. The bike retains its Mexican Yellow and white finish, Honda Mini Trail tank emblems, original-style headlight and taillight assemblies, folding handlebars, hardtail frame, chrome fenders, 49cc Honda engine and 3-speed semi-automatic transmission.

The motorcycle was running when it was parked a number of years ago. It has been sitting for an extended period and has not been recently started or road tested. It should therefore be considered a non-running restoration/project motorcycle and will likely require normal recommissioning work such as fuel-system/carburetor service, ignition inspection, fluids, cables, brakes and other maintenance before attempting to operate it.

The motorcycle shows honest age and patina throughout, including surface rust, oxidation, paint wear, scratches and deterioration consistent with a vintage unrestored Mini Trail. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.

One of the strongest features of this motorcycle is that it has not been cosmetically restored or repainted. It presents as an original survivor and would make an excellent candidate for preservation, mechanical recommissioning, or a complete restoration.
